However, if you don't know the code, try to repeatedly press the power on button of the remote until you get a response from the tv set. Press tv and after that you are suppose to enter the 3 or 4 digit code and press enter. Try pressing the 'set code' or 'code' button and keep pressing it until the light indicator lights.
